Mission
The mission of the CMS Library is to create an inviting, dynamic, and safe space that inspires and honors curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and inclusion. We support the development of collaboration and critical thinking skills to assist students in becoming proficient and responsible users of information. We foster a lifelong love of reading and creative exploration through print and digital collections that are up-to-date and diverse. We encourage students to engage in continuous learning for a deeper understanding of the world around us.

Library Procedures
About the Collection
The library has a wide range of materials covering a variety of subjects, interests, and reading levels to support and enrich the curriculum and student interests. Recognizing the fact that our library contains materials from picture books through some adult books, we encourage families to discuss their children’s reading selections with them.
Circulation​

Items are due back two weeks after checkout.

You may renew an item as many times as you want if no one else has requested it.
Overdue Items

No fines are charged for overdue items.

Students will receive overdue notices via email.

A replacement cost will be charged for lost/badly damaged items.

An item 60+ days overdue will prevent you from borrowing additional library material until those items are returned. Families will be notified of overdue notices when items are 60+ days overdue, and the student has received at least one overdue notice.
